Who we are
Who we are
Uburuobiaka Foundation is a health foundation that recognizes the impact every aspect of health (physical, mental and social) plays on the overall well-being of individuals, families, communities and nations.
Our focus is particularly on children with special needs (developmental and behavioral disabilities, mental illness and street children). We must take care of these vulnerable ones using "our Brains, Hearts and Hands" to ensure total well-being of the world we live in the present and future.
OUR CORE OBJECTIVES
Immediate Relief: Provide food, clothing and medical care to children on the streets.
Education and Empowerment: Enroll children in public schools and equip them with vocational and life skills.
Family Reintegration: Work with families to address root causes and reintegrate children in stable homes.
Advocacy and Policy Enforcement: Partner with Government Agencies to uphold policies on child welfare and education.
Sustainability and Economic Empowerment: Support caregivers with livelihood training to prevent children from returning to the streets.
