Courtesy Visit to the PG of Nnewi – Chief Mmaduka Atueyi
Our team met with at the PG at his office. Dr. Mrs. Mbachu, our coordinator, expressed her gratitude to Chief Mmaduka Atueyi for granting us an audience. She also commended his dedication to human capacity and community development in Nnewi.
Dr. Mbachu provided an overview of our mission, highlighting the progress of Project NoStreeC. She presented a formal letter, a report on the project, and de-identified images of street children and their parents.
Chief Mmaduka Atueyi acknowledged our efforts and aligned with our vision of ensuring that no child is left on the streets of Nnewi. He committed to:
Providing menial job opportunities for unemployed youths among the street children who are willing to work.
Offering security training to interested individuals and facilitating their employment in his security outfit across Nigeria.
Connecting us with the LGA chairman, whom he believes would be instrumental in advancing the initiative.
Sharing the contact information of the Igwe’s crowned prince, encouraging us to engage with him for further support.
Additionally, he extended an invitation for us to address 60 community stakeholders on the first Sunday of March, allowing us to share our message with the wider Nnewi community.
The meeting concluded at 11:48 AM with Dr. Mbachu expressing appreciation for Chief Mmaduka Atueyi’s support and partnership.

The Uburuobiaka Foundation's visit to Nnewi on March 2, 2025, was a resounding success. Our team, including Drs. Ifeoma Udigwe, Charles Egbo, and Chioma Mbachu, engaged with 70 stakeholders, delivering a well-received presentation. The event yielded prompt donations and pledges. Next steps include maintaining relationships with stakeholders and donors to advance the foundation's mission and vision.
